Fees? We don't need no stinkin' fees!

You know those first bag fees American Airlines imposed? Apparently Southwest Airlinesdoesn’t think much of the idea.

    Southwest has taken to heart the adage about finding a niche in the marketplace, then filling it better than anyone else.

    That being said, Southwest doesn't fly out of Anchorage. It's too bad; years ago, we avoided them as the "no frills airline." Now they seem like a bastion of consumer-oriented common sense.
