History! In baseball.

The Mets had a no-hitter this evening. Johan Santana tossed it against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Mets won 8-0.

This is the first no-hitter the Mets have ever had. All those great pitchers they have had--Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Koosman, etc.--threw no-hitters after then left the Mets.

    I have a distinct feeling that 2012 may be Their Year. They are playing like champs lately.
