After going to vote this morning, Terry and I went to pay the propane bill and then had lunch at Subway. Getting home, we did some yard work during the afternoon.
She cleaned up the perennial plants that had died back.
I fired up the lawn mower and used it to mulch the leaves and cut the grass simultaneously. With the amount of leaves on the ground and using the catcher on the mower, there was a lot of stopping and emptying of the catcher. Back and forth I would walk with the bag to dump the cut grass and mulched leaves. Over and over again. It took me almost two hours to clear the lawn, only one tank of gas though, but that was because of all the down time while I walked the bag back and forth. Of course the temperature under the bright sun inched over 70 degrees and I was sweating quite a bit.
We got the jobs done that needed to get done.
Then, with the weather being so good, we fired up the grill one more time and had some excellent hamburgers for dinner.
Time now for some scotch and NCIS.

That sounds like a great, productive day. Cutting the grass sounds so foreign, now, with snow on the ground here.
Grilling for dinner, though ... THAT'S a good idea!
