If I Wrote the Rules

After watching lots and lots of both college and pro football I've come to the conclusion that the NFL needs to make a couple of changes to their game.

1. Change the penalty for pass interference. Adopt the same rule as the college game. No more spot foul 30-40 yards down the field. Make it a 15-yard penalty and an automatic first down. 
2. Change the rule for overtime. Go to a rule similar to the college game only start at the 40 yard line. Each team gets a possession. Starting with the third OT you must go for two points after a TD.
3. Change the offensive holding penalty. Instead of 10 yards, make it 5 yards. The defensive holding penalty is 5 yards and automatic first down. (Actually, I'd like to see that changed in the college game too.)
4. After the 2-minute warning, have the clock stop after a first down for the resetting of the chains.
