Monday, Christmas Eve, we have only one bowl on tap, the
Hawaii Bowl with the Fresno State Bulldogs (9-3) against the SMU Mustangs (6-6).
This one looks to be a mismatch with the nation’s #12
passing offense against the 101st passing defense and the #58
passing offense against the #4 passing defense. Fresno State Bulldogs have the
upper hand in both categories. In addition, the Bulldogs are 14th
overall on offense and 19th overall on defense.
The SMU Mustangs are
just 91st overall on offense and 66th overall on defense.
Good enough reason for SMU to be a 12 point underdog.
