I walked out of the basement this afternoon to work on the raised bed I'm constructing and happened to notice this guy on the stuccoed wall. Now in the woods or field amongst the twigs and weeds you would never notice it, but against the gray wall it stands out like a sore thumb. It measured between six and seven inches in length and was as thin as a pencil lead.
We've seen quite a few of them about on the deck or log walls of the Aerie, but even there they are somewhat camouflaged. Not this one, however.
