A five meter long bridge? I’ll bet it was bulky! Tough to hide under your trench coat on the street corner.
The thing is, it wasn't like it was on a truck being delivered or something. He removed it from where it crossed the river!
How do you manage to do THAT? Do you put up a sign that says, "Men At Work" and start dismantling the bridge?
"Hey, Ivan why are you taking that bridge apart?"
"I have to take it back to the shop for repairs." or "The Chinese made the parts and it's been recalled."
