One HUGE upset at the top of the list and several minor upsets at the bottom mean there’s lots of shuffling going on again. The (former) #1 Texas Longhorns got beat by the (former) #6 Red Raiders of Texas Tech leading to a mad scramble to see who should play in the BCS title game. Further down, loses lead to removal from the list and new faces appearing. Or old ones reappearing.
