Went to get a topo map from TopoZone yesterday and discovered that they have merged with Trails.com. Unfortunately, Trails.com is a subscription site and costs $49.95 per year. As much as I loved using TopoZone I’m not paying that kind of money for something I use maybe twice a year. Therefore, TopoZone comes off my blog roll.

I understand the need for a service to be self-supporting, but it's always sad when a great, free service goes the way of MasterCard.
