It beat the old record by just thaaaaaat much.
The previous record for world's smallest fish, according to the Natural History Museum, was held by a species of Indo-Pacific goby one-tenth of a millimeter longer.Wow!. Just one-tenth of a millimeter shorter than the old record! I'm sure it doesn't make musch of a difference when one considers variations within individuals of a species. But you get your kicks where ever you may.
