Great googaly moogaly!!

Terry just emailed to tell me to check out the AccuHunch news and look at this story By Alex Sosnowski, Expert Senior Meteorologist:

Cold Winds, Chilly Showers, Hold the Snow Shovels

The strongest winds will be from the eastern Ohio Valley states to the central and southern Appalachians, where gusts may reach 40 mph at times through Saturday. Some of this wind will spill into the coastal mid-Atlantic Saturday night and Sunday.

If looking for snowflakes this weekend, your best bet will be to head high into the mountains of West Virginia, easternmost Tennessee, westernmost North Carolina and over the highest ridges in Pennsylvania and New York.[Emphasis mine.]

I am so not ready for this. 8-(

The wind is whipping out there tonight. And the temperatures will most definitely be dropping into the 40s tonight. But snow over the weekend? Sheesh!

Your forecast for the weekend sounds much like ours, except for the strong winds. Wow.

I guess it's coming whether you're ready or not.
