In the Big East things were a bit mixed this week.
#23 Cincinnati (2-0) walloped Southeast Missouri State 70-3.
West Virginia (2-0) beat East Carolina 35-20.
Pittsburgh (2-0) doubled up on Buffalo 54-27.
South Florida (2-0) treated Western Kentucky harshly 35-13.
UConn (1-1) lost to #19 North Carolina on that odd safety. (Holding penalty in the end zone.)
Rutgers (1-1) thrashed Howard 45-7.
Syracuse (0-2) dropped their game to #7 Penn State.
Louisville did not play.
