I forget where I read it but one columnist refused to call the country "Myanmar" as it was the present regime that changed it from Burma. He wrote that if we really want to express our displeasure that we (the Feds[State Dept]) should insist on referring to the country as Burma!
Yeah, I remember reading that too. Lots of bloggers came to President Bush's defense when he called it "Burma" and the left started saying what a dunse he was...again. I used Mynmar only because the post over at Ace of Spades did as did the news article.
