Aerie Report, March 13, 2010: Blah
moar funny pictures
It's been a rainy (about 75% of the time), windy (REALLY windy out of the southeast), cold (not frigid...just 38 to 44 degrees), raw (like the clammy feel of a fish fresh out of the cooler slid down the back of your shorts kinda raw) day here at the Aerie. I probably should have started a fire.
In short, it's been a very yucky, blah sort of day. Not nice at all.

Terry did get over to Wellsboro for another EGA meeting this morning. Small power outages all over the place. The blinking light in Covington on old Rt. 15 wasn't. And the traffic lights on Main Street in Wellsboro weren't working at all. Wal-Mart in Mansfield had to close for a few hours when their power went out. We experienced a short power outage during the night and a very brief one around noon today.

Yucky does seem the right word for it. We've had cold & windy (up to 19 now), blue skies and VERY bright sun so far today, making a painful glare on the snow. Weather gurus predict clouds and snow tonight & tomorrow. We'll see; sorry your day wasn't better.
