When Casey picked Choo-Choo Coleman to be the first Mets’ catcher, he noted that without a catcher there would be a lot of passed balls.
The Mets traded for all-star catcher Paul Lo Duca from the Marlins today. In return, the Marlins get a top pitching prospect in the form of 19 year old Gaby Hernandez and a second, as yet unnamed prospect.
